Enjoy different kinds of Safari ride in variety of Safari Vehicles witnessing the wild denizens in the most beautiful forest of Odisha. The 15 KM long Jungle Safari road stretches inside Tourism Zone all along the Hirakud Lake through the deep dense jungles of Debrigarh. The 50 Sq. KM Tourism Zone is divided into seven sub zones according to the density of animal population i.e. Bison Zone, Sambar Zone, Deer Zone, Bear Zone, Leopard Zone, Birds Zone and Wild Boar Zone.
Debrigarh Ecotourism offers customized Safari packages that supports responsible Wildlife tourism with zero disturbance to the animals. Wildlife Safari does not scare away animals, neither disrupt their feeding, nesting or movement.
Guests staying overnight at Debrigarh Nature Camp can only avail Debrigarh Jungle Safari. Debrigarh Wildlife Sanctuary is generally open daily from 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Jungle safaris operate in designated slots between 6:15 AM and 5:15 PM. You must report to the entrance (Zeropoint gate) at least 30 minutes before your scheduled safari.

Entry Timings for guests staying at Debrigarh Nature Camp
06:15 AM to 05:15 PM.
Jungle Safari Slots (2.5 hours)
06:15 AM – 08:45 AM | 09:00 AM – 11:30 AM | 11:45 AM – 02:15 PM | 02:45 PM – 05:15 PM.
Guided Birding Trail
6:00 AM – 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
General Entry Fee
INR 40 per adult (children under 8 are free).
Safari Vehicles
Prices range from INR 2100 (4-seater) to INR 4725 (12-seater AC vehicle) for 2.5 hours.
Note:
- Individual seat bookings are not permitted for safaris; you must book the entire vehicle.
- The day-tourism entry gate closes for visitors at 3:30 PM. Day trip visitors who are not staying at Debrigarh Nature Camp can avail Boat rides on Hairakud Lake (upon availability) but cannot avail jungle safari. First preference for Boat rides and Jungle safari is reserved to guests staying overnight at Debrigarh Nature Camp.
