The Indian Bison (Gaur)
Home to an impressive population of 1,500 to 2,000 Indian Bisons. Visitors frequently spot four to five distinct herds grazing peacefully within the tourism zone. If you listen closely, you might even hear their famous “Whistling snort” — a powerful mating call that can traverse more than 1.5 kilometers through the forest.

The Elusive Leopard
While the Leopard reigns supreme as our predominant predator, they coexist beautifully with the surrounding communities. Debrigarh proudly maintains a flawless record: zero instances of cattle or livestock kills have ever been reported.
